Membership into the fellowship of PSDBC can be done in several ways:
By Confession and Baptism - Individuals wishing to join are invited to speak with a minister near the end of any worship service. Each individual will be asked in private about their past experience with the Lord and will be led through the time of commitment. Whatever time is needed will be given to assisting each person in completing their decision to live for Jesus. Baptism by immersion is a normal and expected expression of any believer that asks Jesus to be their Lord and Savior.
By Letter - Individuals wishing to join from another Baptist church are invited to speak with a minister near the end of any worship service. By indicating a present membership in another Baptist church, a simple request of membership is all that is required. PSDBC will assist in contacting the other church to move the membership. The minister will want to ask in private about past experience with the Lord.
By Statement - Individuals that wish to join, and have been baptized by immersion from another Protestant church are invited to speak with a minister near the end of any worship service. The minister will want to ask in private about past experience with the Lord. Their statement of faith in Jesus and testimony of baptism by immersion will be the basis of joining PSDBC.
