Clay joined the staff at PSDBC in May 2012. Clay was born and raised in Centreville, Mississippi. At the age of nine years old he accepted Christ and was baptized at Liberty Baptist Church in Liberty, Mississippi. Clay graduated high school from Centreville Academy. Following graduation he attended Southwest Mississippi Community College and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. Clay will graduate from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in August of 2014 with a Masters of Divinity.

Clay is married to Haley Duck, formerly of Russellville, Alabama and has two children Bryston and Keegan. Haley is a wonderful youth minister’s wife. Together, they form a team that desires to see youth fall in love with Jesus. They enjoy spending their time traveling and attending athletic events. They share a passion for Southern Miss athletics and spend much time on campus during the fall.

Clay’s favorite scripture is Philippians 2:14-16, “Do everything without grumbling or complaining so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God who are faultless in a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you shine like stars in the world. Hold firmly to the message of life.”
